Every year, the University of Texas University Fashion Group puts together one of the largest and most highly anticipated runway events in Austin. The 2014 Senior Fashion Show features the designs of graduating seniors from the school's fashion design program.
The theme for this year's show was "Spectrum," an all-encompassing word that captures the way this year's students were able to create a variety of looks that came together in a fluid — yet powerful — way. With each show the designs become more creative and innovative, and this year was a testament to the growing expectations placed on young creatives in the fashion world.
With designs ranging from a modern female luchador ensemble to a full-on Dia de los Muertos-inspired bridal grown, this year's seniors did not disappoint the eager crowd at the Frank Erwin Center on Thursday night.
